I love to use my Paint Zoom sprayer because it is so easy to use. However there have been a couple of Paint Zoom complaints. I bought the Paint Zoom sprayer thinking it would be something simple to use and that I would not be able to do much with it. After I got it in the mail, I was amazed at how easy it was to use.
I like changing things up every now and then to keep things fresh and new. With the Paint Zoom sprayer I get to do just that whenever I feel like it. For example I wanted to paint one of the rooms in my house to a dark blue color. All it had before was white and I didn’t really like that.
I got the paint and filled up my Paint Zoom and got to work. I was amazed at how fast and easy the Paint Zoom was for me to use. There were no brushes to clean or rollers to wash off when I was done. The paint was evenly spread out and it looked great. I love my Paint Zoom Sprayer.
The first time I used it I had no problems. However I do use a few different Paint Zoom spray guns on my jobs with my paint crew and I did have some problems with them using it. Not all the guys in my team were used to using it. I had lots of practice with paint spray guns and they didn’t have much experience in that.
The biggest problem that they guys were having was that the paint was coming out too thin and wasn’t painting well. My guys had to swing their arms back and forth coating the paint which of course looked really bad. When they told me about the problem I knew something was wrong with them or with the gun. They took me into the room they were working in and showed the paint and I could tell it didn’t look good.
I told them we would let it dry first and then see how it looks before we did anything about it. I watched them paint the next room and I noticed that the problem was they were going way too fast. The paint was going on very thin and didn’t look good. So I stopped them and showed them that they had to go semi-slow to get a solid, clean and even look.
That complaint was easily resolved. The other complaint was that it was too thick in some places. This was also easily fixed. The trick is to hold the Paint Zoom gun about 8 to 12 inches away from the surface that is being sprayed. If it is too far it will be very thin, but if it is too close it’ll bunch up and drip down the wall which is not good.
I have not had any problems with the motor or gun of the Paint Zoom. It is a reliable product and I use it constantly on my jobs and in my house.
